windows-10-mobileMicrosoft has released a list of Lumia phones that will be getting Windows 10 Mobile upgrade at the time of launch. Not all devices will get Windows 10 at launch and devices like the 630, 530, and 520 will have to wait for some time.
The software giant has released Windows 10 for the desktop, but the mobile users are waiting for the update. Back in November 2014, Microsoft said that all Lumia phones will be getting the Windows 10 upgrade- that simple meant that all Lumia phones with Windows phone 8 will get Windows 10 upgrade. Recently, on its website, Microsoft has updated a list that hints at the fact that initially Windows 10 Mobile will be available for selected mobile devices.
The Windows 10 Mobile is expected to come around November to Lumia devices. The product homepage for Windows 10 Mobile states that:
Microsoft specifies which Lumia devices will get Windows 10 on first launch:
US “Our newest Lumia smartphones – the Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL and Lumia 430 Dual SIM – will receive a free upgrade to Windows 10″
UK  “The following Lumia smartphones will receive a free upgrade when available: Lumia 435, Lumia 535, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and Lumia 930.”

It should be noted that devices that that are absent from the list the ones with just 512MB RAM. These include budget Lumia phones Lumia 520, Lumia 630, and Lumia 635. Apart from these 512MB RAM phones, the significant devices that are absent are Microsoft’s flagship Lumia 1520 and Lumia Icon, and Lumia 730.
It’s possible that it’s the first list by Microsoft that will be updated with time and more devices will be added.
